Welcome to our Re-organised Site; the home of 9 Kompanie, III Battalion, Fallshirmjager Regiment 6!  The aim of this site is to give the visitor a flavour of what we do in portraying the men of Germany's Elite Fallshirmjager in action in North West Europe prior to and following the Allied Invasion of Europe in June, 1944.
Our members are volunteers with a keen interest in Living History and come from all walks of life!

On Saturday 26th June we attended a Militaria Fair at Gorey, Wexford organised by our good friend Canon Mark Hayden.
As it was primarily a Militaria Fair, we provided a small static display with a selection of weapons and equipment in use by FJ units in Normandy.
The weather was fantastic and the crowds friendly....what more could you expect on a beautiful summer's day!!

This year's Duncannon Show was as good as ever and the weather played its part for the third year in a row!
We were accompanied by two of out friends from F.J.R.6 (UK) who thoroughly enjoyed themselves in this their first Irish outing.
The battle took place on Saturday and provided a fine spectacle for the crowd in attendance - there are some excellent shots on the 2010 Media Page.
This year allowed us to unveil our blank firing FG42 - a unique movie prop which operates just like the original and produces a magnificent sound!
We portrayed Normandy '44 on Saturday and the Italian Campaign on Sunday.
It was great to meeet so many friends once again and the time seems to pass so quickly!
