9/FJR6 will take part in a private battle on the weekend of 28th August at a private venue in Wexford.
The Battle will recreate the events surrounding the first battle for Caen and in particular, the initial contacts between the UK 7th Armoured Division and KG Furbach.
The Kampfgruppe comprises elements of LSSAH, FJR3 and Pz Lehr Division.
The structure of the weekend has been worked out and will involve a purely tactical event over 36 hours and should provide some excellent front line experience.
