WHO WE ARE

On watch in the Liri Valley circa 1944
Members of Heaven and Hell are essentially amateur military historians with a strong interest in Airborne Forces of World War Two and come from all over Ireland and from all walks of life.
We particularly enjoy the Living History aspect of Re-enactment which involves living in the field, utilizing authentic equipment, weapons, tactics and field-craft and which requires fitness, stamina and dedication to our craft.
We have worked in documentary and television and take pride in our portrayal of a German Fallschirmjäger unit in Normandy in 1944.
In 2008 we were honoured to be invited to take part in a Historic Living History event at Deadmans Corner, St. Marie du Mont, Normandy. Now the site of a superb museum, the property was originally the Regimental Headquarters of FJR6 led by Frieherr Col. F. Von der Heydte.
Events for the coming year include Finland, Beltring in the U.K. and the Duncannon Show in Wexford.
We currently possess a single motorcycle, a motorcycle combination and we have another vehicle on the way.
