Some of the items required by the prospective FJ include, from left to right, bottom to top: LW Bread Bag (with shaving kit and Eating Utensils), Mess Tin set, Water Bottle (with BROWN cover), Entrenching Tool, Bread Bag Strap and Butter Dish.

Load Carrying Equipment
Y-Straps are standard WH tropical issue in canvas and K98 Ammunition Pouches in BROWN leather . FJ gas mask bag is slung at the front and a cloth bandolier is carried with extra K98 ammunition. This Fallschirmjager is typical of the Italian or Mediterranean Theatre of operations. A P38 pistol is carried in brown leather holster.
