In order to accurately portray Fallschirmjager Combat Troops during the Second World War, the acquisition of good quality and correct pattern kit is very important.
Heaven And Hell have sourced suppliers who can fulfil the strict kit criteria laid down by the group and which will last many seasons of field use.
In recent year, the quality of reproduction items has varied dramatically with, for example, the production of FJ Jump Smocks in Heer Splinter A and the proliferation of M1938 helmets with poor liners and cheap steel which sit comicaly on the top of the head rather than over the ears, thus not providing the protection required in combat!
Therefore, prospective members should contact those within the group for advice on what and where to buy necessary items of kit in order to avoid expensive and unnecessary waste!
